Prof. Mukesh Vekaria

Mr. Mukeshkumar Vekariya is a dedicated Mechanical Engineering professional and academician based in Rajkot, Gujarat, with a strong blend of industrial and teaching experience. He completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Lukhdhirji Engineering College, Morbi in 2007 and later pursued his M.Tech. in Thermal Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya in 2012. He began his professional career in the industry with Reliance Industries Ltd., where he worked as a SAP MM Developer from June 2007 to March 2009, gaining hands-on experience in materials management, procurement systems, and ERP implementation. Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor at Darshan University since 2021, where he is actively involved in teaching, research, and guiding students in the field of mechanical engineering. His areas of expertise include thermal engineering, refrigeration and air conditioning, heat transfer, industrial automation, flexible manufacturing systems (FMS), and renewable energy technologies. He has made significant academic contributions through research publications in reputed journals and conferences, particularly in areas such as solar adsorption refrigeration systems and heat exchanger optimization. He is also a co-author of the textbook “Power Plant Engineering” and holds patents in the field of industrial automation, including work on gantry robots and FMS optimization.
