Dr. Ramnik G. Dhamsaniya, the vibrant and visionary President of Darshan University and prominently recognized as a pivotal pillar and an outstanding administrator in the field of education. Upon completing his Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Lukhdhirji Engineering College, Morbi, Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering & Ph.D. in Concrete Technology from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM), Sardar Patel University.
He has started his career as a lecturer at L. E. College Morbi and worked for 10 years. In 1996, he has moved to V. V. P. engineering college where he has played vital role in the infrastructural & academic development of the institute. He has also worked as a Principal in Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science for Diploma Studies for 2 years.
During 40 years of his career, He has notably contributed to the development of a quality-focused educational system and institutional governance. Being a powerful blend of distinguished academician and profound visionary, he has successfully contributed to bridging the gap between academics and industries. With the notion of skill-based education, he has established Darshan University, which is committed to developing a conducive learning environment, strengthening student progression and promoting value-based education.
Prof. Manish V. Sanghani
Provost
Prof. Manish V. Sanghani, an academician with an in-depth knowledge and profound skill set in teaching pedagogy, education and administration. He has completed his Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Lukhdhirji Engineering College, Morbi, and his Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda.
He has started his career as a lecturer at Dr. Jivraj Mehta Government Polytechnic for 10 years. In 1997, he has moved to V. V. P. engineering college where he has worked as an Assistant Professor for 11 years.
He plays a vital role in integrating academics with industries. His career experience spans around 37 years and, presently he is the founder and Provost of the University. He has contributed towards the development and effective implementation of numerous education initiatives. He has been a key person to enhance the educational framework at the University and streamline it with the expectations of industries & corporate sectors. He is committed to creating an effective skill and training-based foundation for education where students are empowered to concrete their experience of learning and gain an edge in an increasingly competitive workforce.
Prof. Jay R. Dhamsaniya
Registrar
Prof. Jay Dhamsaniya is a young, passionate educator whose extensive experience and professional background contributed to his broad desire for educational innovation. He graduated from Nirma University with a B. Tech In Electronics and Communication, a PG Diploma in Full Stack Web Development from IIIT-Bangalore, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), United Kingdom. He is an ASP.NET MVC and PHP web developer, as well as a UX/UI designer and developer for mobile and web. For the institute, he developed over 27 mobile applications. He was one of the main developers of the ERP program called "DMIS" and internal software for the institute's effective administrative operations. He is currently serving as the Registrar of Darshan University and has been actively working towards shaping the regulatory standards and compliance measures as an officer of the university. In addition to adding another feather to his professional cap, he is also a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
He continues to endeavor to broaden the scope of higher education in his position as a registrar of the university, and he hopes to develop an ideal learning atmosphere that puts students on the path to academic success.
Dr. Ashvin J. Makadia
Controller of Examinations
Dr. Ashvin Makadia has pursued a B.E. from L.E. College, Morbi, in 1994, an M.Tech. (CAD/CAM) from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, in 2005, and a Ph.D. from the M.S. University, Vadodara, in the area of “Response Surface Methodology." He has published eight papers in various reputed journals and conferences. He has also reviewed various papers for ASME and Elsevier journals. He chairs the TERI-SIDBI training program at the institute. He started his career with Rajoo Engineers, Rajkot. He has also worked with V.V.P. Engineering College, Rajkot, for a span of 12 years. His areas of interest are Machine Design, Dynamics of Machine and CAD/CAM. He has served as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department for almost 12 years at Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology.
At present, he is serving as the controller of examinations at the university. He plays a crucial role in upholding the standards of academic integrity, fairness, and efficiency within a university's examination system. By overseeing all aspects of examination planning, administration, and result management, he contribute significantly to the overall quality of education and the credibility of academic qualifications awarded by the institution.
