Profile

Prof. U. J. Solanki has completed his Diploma in Civil Engineering from Sir Bhavsinhji Polytechnic Institute - Bhavnagar in 1991, B.E from Institution of Engineers (IEI) - India in 2003, M.Tech in Transportation Engineering and Planning from SVNIT - Surat in 2011. He has completed Ph.D. from R.K. University - Rajkot in the area of Pavement Evaluation using a falling weight deflectometer. Sir has started his career as a site engineer with the registered contractor of TATA Chemicals - Mithapur in 1991 and later on moved to V.V.P. Engineering college - Rajkot in 1996 as a laboratory assistant in the civil engineering department and worked till 2009. He has vast experience in various industrial construction of coal - lignite based power plants, cement plants, residential quarters, cold storage, concrete road, refractory lining, construction material testing, pavement evaluation, concrete and bituminous mix design.
