The Sports Department, Darshan University, proposes to organize the Faculty Box Cricket Tournament – Season 2 during the 28th November 2026, following the successful completion of its previous edition. The tournament aims to provide an exciting sporting platform for faculty members to showcase their cricketing skills, encourage active participation, and strengthen professional relationships across various departments of the university. A total of 8 faculty teams will participate in the tournament, with players selected through an IPL-style auction process. Each team will have the opportunity to build its squad by bidding for players, ensuring competitive and balanced team combinations. The 8 teams will be divided into two groups of 4 teams each and will compete in a league format. Based on their league performance, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will compete in the Grand Final to determine the tournament champion.
