80th Independence Day Celebration 2026

Darshan University commemorated India’s 80th Independence Day with a vibrant celebration that brought together students and staff in a spirit of patriotism, national pride, and unity. Organised by the Student Activity Center’s Performing Arts Wing, National Service Scheme (NSS), and National Cadet Corps (NCC), the programme provided a meaningful platform for students to engage in cultural and patriotic activities while showcasing their artistic talents. The celebration featured flag hoisting, the National Anthem, parade inspection and march past, addresses by dignitaries, cultural performances, and the felicitation of SAC and NSS volunteers. Performances, storytelling, and NCC presentations further enriched the programme, highlighting values of discipline, service, cultural heritage, and national responsibility. With participation from students across multiple university institutes, the event strengthened a shared sense of community and concluded with a vote of thanks and fellowship over breakfast.
Who we are?
Darshan University - having the foundation of its first Institution laid in 2009, and later on, established and consolidated under Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act of 2021. It is one of the leading institutes within Saurashtra that offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Courses.
