Celebration of Guru Purnima

The Student Activity Center (SAC) – Cultural Wing, DU, organized a "Guru Purnima Celebration" to honour teachers and mentors for their valuable guidance, wisdom, and contribution to students’ lives. The celebration reflected the traditional Guru–Shishya relationship and highlighted the values of respect, discipline, humility, and lifelong learning. The event began with an auspicious Saraswati Aarti, seeking blessings for wisdom and knowledge. Dr. Ramnik G. Dhamsaniya, President of DU, and Prof. Manish V. Sanghani, Provost of DU, felicitated respected Gurus as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation for their contributions to education and society. Faculty members and students also participated in paying tribute to their mentors. With more than 20 staff members and over 30 students from various institutes participating, the celebration served as a meaningful tribute to the timeless role of Gurus in inspiring learning and personal growth.
Who we are?
