An Industrial Visit at Jyoti CNC Automation Ltd.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIET, organized an industrial visit to Jyoti CNC Automation Ltd., Metoda, Rajkot, for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering students. During the visit, 22 students gained practical exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and the production of Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Vertical Machining Centre (VMC), and Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) machines. Students explored key industrial sections, including the Foundry, Sheet Metal Shop, Assembly Shop, and Painting Shop. They gained insights into component manufacturing, processing, assembly, quality inspection, and finishing. The visit helped students connect theory with practice and better understand quality standards and modern manufacturing technologies.
