An Industrial Visit at Seasons Hotel, Rajkot

The Darshan Institute of Management (DIM), DU, organized an industrial visit to Seasons Hotel, Rajkot, for first-semester MBA students to provide practical exposure to hospitality operations and service management. During the visit, 79 students explored key functional areas, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, Kitchen Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Human Resources. Students gained insights into guest management, service quality, hygiene and safety standards, inventory management, and organizational operations. An interactive session with senior hotel professionals further familiarized them with industry expectations, career opportunities, emerging trends, and the role of technology in hospitality management, helping them connect classroom learning with professional practices.
