The Department of Civil Engineering, DIETDS, organized a construction site visit for third-semester, batch two students to provide practical exposure to ongoing building construction activities. During the visit, 18 students observed key stages of construction, including excavation, foundation work, brick masonry, concreting, formwork, and plastering. Students also gained practical knowledge of construction materials such as cement, sand, steel, bricks, and aggregates, along with their properties and on-site applications. The visit helped students understand the sequence of construction activities and basic site management practices while connecting classroom learning with real-world construction practices.
