An Expert Talk on the "Third Revised RUDA Development Plan"

The Department of Civil Engineering, DIETDS, organized an expert talk on the "Third Revised RUDA Development Plan" to provide students with practical insights into urban and regional planning. Mr. Nirav Bhavsar, Planning Advisor, delivered the talk and discussed land-use zoning, transportation networks, infrastructure planning, environmental conservation, public amenities, and future urban expansion. 74 students participated and gained insights into Geographic Information Systems (GIS), planning regulations, and statutory provisions related to development planning. The talk helped students connect academic concepts with professional planning practices through practical examples. It also enhanced their understanding of sustainable urban development and the roles of planners, architects, and civil engineers in the planning process.
