The Department of Sports at Darshan University, in association with the Student Activity Center, successfully organized the Badminton Talent Hunt & Knockout Tournament 2026. Designed to identify and nurture athletic potential, the tournament provided a competitive platform for fifty-seven students across various internal institutes to showcase their sportsmanship and passion for badminton. The event featured a comprehensive Talent Hunt Round followed by a rigorous Knockout Tournament, aiming to foster a healthy competitive spirit and prepare students for future inter-university, state, and national competitions. Recognizing exceptional athletic prowess, outstanding performers were awarded trophies and certificates. As a significant outcome of this initiative, the top eight players earned the prestigious opportunity to join a reputed badminton coaching center for professional training and advanced skill development. Ultimately, Neel Shah and Isha Bavarva claimed the championship titles in the boys' and girls' categories respectively, exemplifying the university's steadfast commitment to holistic student development.
