Expert Talk on Financial Awareness and Consumer Training (FACT)

The Darshan Institute of Management (DIM), Darshan University, organized an Expert Talk on Financial Awareness and Consumer Training (FACT) to strengthen students’ financial literacy, investment knowledge, and consumer awareness. The session provided practical insights into financial planning, responsible decision-making, and long-term wealth creation, covering investment avenues such as equity, mutual funds, SIPs, and fixed-income instruments. Students explored investment strategies aligned with financial goals and risk tolerance, along with investor behaviour and the importance of avoiding emotional decisions. The expert also discussed IPOs, stock market performance, derivatives, commodities, ethical investing, regulatory compliance, insurance, and financial risk management. Emphasis was placed on consumer rights and identifying financial frauds. An interactive question-and-answer session further enhanced participation and practical learning. A total of 91 students from various programmes actively participated and benefited from the expert’s guidance.
Who we are?
