Industry-Oriented Program on "Automobile Systems, Service Engineering and Manufacturing Technology"

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIET, organized the Industry-Oriented Program on "Automobile Systems, Service Engineering, and Manufacturing Technology" to provide students with practical exposure to contemporary automotive engineering and industrial practices. The four-day program integrated expert sessions, hands-on demonstrations, workshop visits, and industrial exposure, enabling participants to explore modern automobile systems, vehicle servicing, diagnostic techniques, manufacturing processes, and quality control practices. Students gained valuable insights into spark-ignition and compression-ignition engines, preventive maintenance, electrical and electronic diagnostics, and tractor manufacturing. With the participation of 27 Mechanical Engineering students, the program successfully enhanced their technical competencies, industrial awareness, and employability.
