Expert session on “Study Abroad Programs”

  24 Mar 2026

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIETDS, organized an expert session on “Study Abroad Programs” for Diploma Mechanical Engineering students. The session aimed to create awareness about international higher education opportunities and help students make informed decisions regarding their academic and career goals. The session was conducted by an expert from K7 International, who provided detailed information about pursuing higher studies in countries such as Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Students learned about eligibility criteria, admission procedures, required documentation, English language proficiency tests, scholarships, education loans, visa processes, part-time work opportunities, and post-study career options. The interactive question-and-answer session helped clarify students’ queries and enhanced their understanding of the international admission process. The program encouraged students to explore global learning opportunities and reinforced the department’s commitment to career guidance and professional development.
