The Student Activity Center (SAC) – Sports & Fitness Wing, DU, organized the Darshan University Premier League (DUPL) Season 2.0 to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among students. The tournament was conducted in a league format and featured six teams representing various institutes, with the enthusiastic participation of 136 students. Throughout the tournament, participants demonstrated excellent cricketing skills, leadership, discipline, and team spirit in a competitive yet friendly environment. The event also received an enthusiastic response online, attracting approximately 16,000 digital views. After a series of exciting matches, Sport Super Striker emerged as the champions by defeating Diploma Challenger in the final. The tournament strengthened inter-departmental interaction, encouraged active student participation in sports, and reinforced the university’s commitment to holistic student development through extracurricular activities.
Who we are?
Darshan University - having the foundation of its first Institution laid in 2009, and later on, established and consolidated under Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act of 2021. It is one of the leading institutes within Saurashtra that offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Courses.
