The Student Activity Center (SAC) – Sports & Fitness Wing, DU, organized the inaugural season of the Darshan University Women’s Premier League (DUWPL) to promote women’s participation in sports and encourage a healthy competitive spirit. The tournament provided female students with an excellent platform to showcase their cricketing talent while developing teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. The league witnessed enthusiastic participation from teams representing various institutes of the university. After a series of exciting matches, Admin Avengers emerged as the champions, while DIM Warriors secured the runners-up position. The tournament fostered physical fitness, confidence, and unity among participants and reflected the university’s commitment to encouraging women’s sports and holistic student development. The successful event also laid the foundation for making DUWPL a continuing tradition at the university.
