The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIET, organized an expert talk on “Building Industry Ready – Professional Communication and Career Skills” for second semester B.Tech Mechanical Engineering students. The session was coordinated by Mr. Ashutosh M. Joshi and Mr. Prakashchandra R. Parajiya and was conducted by Prof. Radhika Bhateliya. During the session, students learned about professional communication, workplace etiquette, resume writing, and the essential skills required to succeed in today’s corporate environment. Through real-life examples and interactive discussions, the speaker highlighted the importance of effective communication, confidence, and professional behavior during interviews and at the workplace. The session helped students understand industry expectations and enhanced their employability by developing the soft skills needed for successful careers in engineering. It also encouraged students to focus on continuous learning and professional development.
