NCC Cadets Participated in Saurashtra Samundra Abhiyan (MENU) Camp - Porbandar To Diu, 2026

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit of DU participated in the Saurashtra Samundra Abhiyan (MENU) Camp, a twelve-day state-level training program held at INS Sardar Patel. The camp provided cadets with practical exposure to maritime operations, naval navigation, and water-based adventure activities. The training focused on developing discipline, teamwork, leadership, and physical endurance while enhancing participants understanding of coastal environments and naval services. Representing the Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology, Cadet Joshi Miral from the B.Tech Civil Engineering program actively participated in the camp and demonstrated exceptional dedication throughout the training. In recognition of her outstanding performance and positive spirit, she received the “Best Spirited Cadet” award from the ADG of Gujarat. This achievement reflects the university’s commitment to nurturing leadership, excellence, and personal development through NCC activities.
