State Level Symposium Sci-π 2026

The Department of Humanities & Science, DIET and Darshan Institute of Science, DU, organized the state-level symposium “Sci-π 2026” to celebrate National Science Day. The event provided a platform for undergraduate, postgraduate, and research students to present their ideas, research work, and innovations while promoting interdisciplinary learning and collaboration. The symposium witnessed the participation of 183 attendees, including 95 students from various external institutions. The program featured keynote lectures by distinguished academicians, highlighting the importance of scientific research, innovation, and inquiry in higher education. Participants actively engaged in oral presentations, poster presentations, and drawing competitions, showcasing their creativity and scientific understanding. The event encouraged knowledge sharing, academic interaction, and critical thinking while inspiring students to explore emerging areas of research and scientific innovation.
Who we are?
Darshan University - having the foundation of its first Institution laid in 2009, and later on, established and consolidated under Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act of 2021. It is one of the leading institutes within Saurashtra that offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Courses.
