Matrubhasa Divas Elocution Competition

The Literary and Fine Arts Wing of the Student Activity Center (SAC), DU, organized the "Matrubhasa Divas Elocution Competition" through an online platform to celebrate linguistic diversity and promote the richness of the Gujarati language. Students from various institutes, including the Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology, Darshan Institute of Computer Application, and Darshan Institute of Science, participated in the event. Participants delivered speeches on topics related to cultural heritage, language, and the importance of preserving one’s mother tongue. The performances were evaluated based on diction, fluency, content, and presentation skills. Miral Joshi secured the first position, while Alifiya Ghoghari stood second. Ravi Khatana and Pankaj Solanki jointly secured the third position. Coordinated by Ms. Radhika J. Bhateliya, the competition encouraged students to take pride in their linguistic and cultural heritage while enhancing their public speaking and communication skills.
Who we are?
