User Awareness Program on ORCID, IRINS and INFLIBNET Services for Scholarly Communities

The Library, DU, organized a regional workshop titled “User Awareness Program on ORCID, IRINS and INFLIBNET Services for Scholarly Communities” in collaboration with the Information and Library Network Centre (INFLIBNET). The workshop was attended by 102 participants, including academicians, faculty members, and research scholars from various institutions, and aimed to enhance awareness of national research information systems and digital scholarly resources. During the workshop, scientists from INFLIBNET delivered expert sessions on creating and managing ORCID IDs, developing IRINS profiles, and effectively utilizing the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) platform to access scholarly resources. Participants also learned about research visibility, publication management, and the responsible use of digital databases for academic and research purposes. The workshop strengthened participants' understanding of national research platforms and reinforced the university’s commitment to promoting research excellence and effective scholarly communication.
