HANDS ON DEMOSTRATION & KNOWLADGE OF INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

The Departments of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, DIETDS, organized a workshop titled “Hands-On Demonstration & Knowledge of Industrial Automation” at G-305. The session was attended by 72 diploma students from the fourth and sixth semesters. Conducted by an expert from Sofcon India Pvt. Ltd., the workshop provided practical exposure to industrial automation technologies such as PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. Participants learned about the architecture of automated control systems, troubleshooting techniques, and the integration of sensors, actuators, and communication modules used in modern industries. The session helped students understand the applications of automation in Industry 4.0 environments and connect theoretical concepts with real-world practices. The workshop enhanced students technical knowledge and prepared them for career opportunities in the automation and manufacturing sectors.
