Session on “AWS Core Services – IAM, EC2, and S3”

The AWS Cloud Club, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, DIET, organized a workshop on “AWS Core Services – IAM, EC2, and S3” to provide students with practical exposure to cloud computing technologies. During the workshop, participants learned the fundamentals of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), and Simple Storage Service (S3), through live demonstrations and hands-on activities. Students explored account setup, cloud resource management, and the practical applications of AWS services in real-world computing. A cloud-based quiz made the session interactive and reinforced the concepts covered. The workshop enhanced students’ technical skills and increased their awareness of industry-relevant cloud technologies.
