Visit at Ultratech Ready-Mix Concrete Plant

The Department of Civil Engineering, DIETDS organized an Industrial visit to the UltraTech Ready-Mix Concrete Plant for Semester fourth Diploma Civil Engineering students. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to modern concrete production processes and industry practices. The visit was attended by 30 students under the guidance of faculty coordinators Mr. Miral H. Lathia and Mr. Meet B. Sanghvi. During the visit, students observed various stages of ready-mix concrete production, including automated batching, material storage in cement silos, and the operation of transit mixers. They also gained insights into quality control procedures and safety standards followed in the industry. The visit helped students connect theoretical concepts with practical applications and develop a better understanding of professional construction practices and industrial working environments.
