Workshop on "Revit Architecture"

The Department of Civil Engineering (DIET) organized a specialized workshop on "Revit Architecture". Organized in collaboration with the CADD Center Rajkot, the session aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and modern industry requirements by introducing students to Building Information Modeling (BIM). Under the expert guidance of trainer Mr. Ronak Dhangadhariya, fourteen student participants engaged in hands-on training focused on 3D modeling, building documentation, and professional architectural workflows. The curriculum covered essential commands and key design components, including levels, grids, and annotations, to enhance digital competence. By mastering these contemporary design tools, students gained valuable skills in project coordination and visualization. This initiative underscores the university's commitment to providing industry-oriented practical education, effectively preparing future civil engineers for the complexities of modern construction and architectural practice.
