Inauguration of COE in Sustainable Construction Materials

Darshan University marked a significant milestone in industry–academia collaboration with the inauguration of the “Centre of Excellence (COE) in Sustainable Construction Materials”, established in partnership with UltraTech Cement Ltd. The ceremony witnessed the presence of senior industry executives and university leadership, reflecting a shared commitment to innovation in civil engineering. The newly launched facility is designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to advanced cement and concrete technologies, promoting sustainable construction practices. Faculty members and students explored the COE’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and observed live demonstrations of innovative materials, gaining valuable insight into current industry standards. This initiative aims to enrich the academic curriculum through practical learning and prepare students as industry-ready professionals.
Who we are?
Darshan University - having the foundation of its first Institution laid in 2009, and later on, established and consolidated under Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act of 2021. It is one of the leading institutes within Saurashtra that offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Courses.
