Enrichment Course on "Advanced AutoCAD and GD&T"

The Department of Mechanical Engineering (DIETDS) conducted an intensive five-day enrichment course titled "Advanced AutoCAD with GD&T, Pump Testing, Measurement, and Machine Tool Maintenance". Aimed at 43 Diploma students, this training was organized to foster advanced technical competencies essential for the modern manufacturing industry. In collaboration with the Sopan Institute of Engineering and Design, managing director Mr. Bhavin Vadgama and internal faculty guided students through a rigorous curriculum that included Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), industrial drawing applications, and hands-on pump testing. The sessions combined software proficiency with practical workshop maintenance tasks, ensuring students gained a holistic understanding of the "design-to-manufacturing" workflow. This initiative successfully strengthened the students' foundational mechanical engineering skills and enhanced their readiness for technical professional roles.
