The Department of Civil Engineering (DIET) organized an expert talk titled "Current Practices in Building Planning & Designing" featuring Mr. Vishal Parkhiya from Shree Designs. The session was designed to update students on the latest trends, regulatory frameworks, and innovative techniques shaping the architectural landscape. Mr. Parkhiya provided a detailed overview of building bye-laws and the specific rules under the CGDCR, which are critical for professional compliance. Through the presentation of his professional portfolio, he illustrated how these regulations are applied in real-world scenarios to create functional and aesthetic designs. The talk aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice, offering students a clear perspective on the intricacies of architectural planning.
