Industrial Visit to Redwop Chemicals Pvt. Ltd.

The Department of Civil Engineering (DIET) organized an industrial visit to the manufacturing facility of Redwop Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., Rajkot, to acquaint students with the large-scale production of construction chemicals such as concrete admixtures, waterproofing agents, and accelerators. During the visit, students observed the complete production process and gained insights into chemical formulations that improve the strength and workability of construction materials. Industry experts explained quality control procedures, safety standards, and testing protocols followed in the chemical industry. The visit provided valuable practical exposure by linking classroom knowledge of construction materials with real-world manufacturing practices, while also enhancing students’ understanding of quality assurance and the construction material supply chain.
