Field Visit to Auditorium Construction Site

The Department of Civil Engineering (DIET) organized a field visit to Auditorium Construction Site at Darshan University campus for 5th-semester B.Tech Civil Engineering students. Coordinated by Prof. Dipak Jivani and Prof. Deep Hadvani, the visit involved twenty-eight students and aimed to strengthen practical understanding of construction practices. Students examined structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, and foundation work, along with a technical study of the Connection Tree near C-Block to analyze steel connections and structural members. The visit effectively enhanced students’ understanding of the practical application of design principles in modern construction projects.
