BIOSPARK 2026 is a State Level Seminar organized by the Department of Microbiology, Darshan Institute of Science, Darshan University, with the objective of fostering innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and industry readiness among students, researchers, and professionals in the life sciences domain.

The seminar is themed “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Life Sciences” and is conducted under the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) initiative. The event aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world entrepreneurial applications by highlighting emerging trends, startup ecosystems, and incubation opportunities in the life sciences sector.

The program will feature expert sessions by distinguished professionals from the startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem:

• Mr. Javid Shaikh, CEO & Lead – Incubation and Startup Advisory, Syncoro Ventures Pvt. Ltd., who will share insights on startup incubation, venture building, and scaling life science innovations.

• Mr. Sachin Patel, Project Officer, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, who will discuss entrepreneurship development, government support mechanisms, and pathways for aspiring entrepreneurs.

BIOSPARK 2026 is designed to inspire participants to transform scientific ideas into viable enterprises, understand funding and incubation frameworks, and explore career opportunities beyond conventional academic pathways.
