Department of Electrical Engineering at Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology (DIET) is organizing Skill Development Training Program on "Solar PV Installer- Electrical" under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana by Technical Institutions (PMKVY-TI) through All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for the AY2018-19.

The course is designed and developed by Sector Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ). Course curriculum is of Level - 4 as per National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) recommended by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).

Training program is designed to make people specializes in electrical installations and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic Systems. It is aimed to build key competencies such as installations, testing and commissioning of different electrical components of photovoltaic systems that meet the performance and reliability needs of customers by incorporating quality craftsmanship and complying with all applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.

What is the Program ?

• Government Funded i.e. No Fees
• Non- Residential, 200 hours, 6 hours/days,  6 days/week
• Theory hours with class room teaching
• Practical hours with laboratory experiment, software simulation, tutorials etc.
• Field visit of medium/large industry
• Certification examination at the end of program

When is the Program?

• December 06, 2018 to January 12, 2019
• Last Date of Registration - November 30, 2018

Who can Apply ?

• Minimum Qualification - 10^th pass + ITI/ Diploma (Electrical, Electronics)
• Minimum Age - 18 Years

• Aadhar Card
• Cast Certificate (if applicable)
• Certificate of Highest Qualification
• Passport Size Photo (Two)
