Expert Lecture on AutoCAD and 3D Modelling

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Darshan University, organized an expert seminar on AutoCAD and 3D Modelling for 4th and 6th Semester Diploma Electrical Engineering students on 24/02/2026. The lecture was delivered by an expert from Vishwakarma Academy. During the seminar, students gained comprehensive knowledge of the basic tools and commands of AutoCAD, including drawing setup, layers, dimensioning, editing tools, and preparation of professional engineering drawings. The expert also introduced students to 3D modelling concepts, covering sketching, part modelling, assembly basics, and visualization techniques. Live demonstrations helped students understand real-time design processes and industry-oriented drafting standards. The session enhanced students’ technical design skills, strengthened their understanding of computer-aided design applications, and motivated them to explore career opportunities in the field of engineering design and modelling.
