Industrial Visit to Sunbond Energy Pvt. Ltd.: Exploring Advanced Solar PV Module Manufacturing

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Darshan University, organized an industrial visit to Sunbond Energy Pvt. Ltd. for 6th Semester Diploma Electrical Engineering students on 26th February 2026. Sunbond Energy Pvt. Ltd. is a leading solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing company that utilizes advanced MonoPERC and TOPCon cell technology to produce high-efficiency solar modules. During the visit, students gained practical exposure to the complete manufacturing process, including module assembly, lamination, framing, testing, and quality inspection procedures. Industry experts explained the use of modern machinery, automation systems, safety standards, and quality control practices followed in solar module production, along with their applications in large-scale ground-mounted plants, rooftop installations, storage-integrated systems, and solar pumping solutions. The visit effectively bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial application, enhanced students’ understanding of renewable energy technologies, and motivated them toward career opportunities in the solar power sector.
