The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Darshan University organized Code 2 Trade Hackathon 2025, powered by Multiicon in collaboration with Darshan University. Held on 26th July 2025 at the university campus, the event aimed to empower students to explore AI-driven algorithmic trading and fintech solutions. A total of 67 students participated, gaining hands-on experience in building real-time, rule-based trading logic using the Market Maya Simulator.
The hackathon featured a 30-minute task briefing, followed by a 5-hour coding challenge where teams developed innovative trading strategies and presented their solutions in front of judges. The event also offered exciting opportunities including trophies, certificates for all participants, and internships for top performers.
The event was graced by Ms. Pooja Maheshwari (HR Manager, Multiicon) as an external expert. With active participation, industry collaboration, and a focus on real-world fintech applications, Code 2 Trade Hackathon 2025 successfully provided a platform for young innovators to code the future of finance.
Who we are?
Darshan University - having the foundation of its first Institution laid in 2009, and later on, established and consolidated under Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act of 2021. It is one of the leading institutes within Saurashtra that offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Courses.
