Expert Lecture on "Cyber Security"

The Department of Computer Applications (DICA) organized an expert talk on “Cyber Security Awareness” on 24th September, 2025, in collaboration with the Cyber Crime Cell, Rajkot. The session was delivered by Mr. Parth Parmar, Cyber Security Expert, who explained the fundamentals and importance of cyber security in today’s digital world. The event was graced by Mr. Samir Dhaduk, IT Director, RMC; Mr. Bhavesh Shah, Deputy IT Director, RMC; and Mr. Ravi Parmar, Deputy General Manager, RMC. The expert discussed various cyber crimes such as hacking, phishing, online fraud, malware attacks, and cyber bullying with real-life examples. Preventive measures like strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and safe online practices were also highlighted. The interactive session enhanced students’ awareness and encouraged responsible and secure use of digital technologies.
