Industrial Visit of 4th Semester Diploma Mechanical Students at Perfect Auto Cast, Shapar – Veraval, Rajkot

An industrial visit was organized for the students of the 4th Semester Students of the diploma mechanical engineering department on 11th March, 2023.The objective behind organizing an Industrial Visit for 4th Semester Students was to give them knowledge of the current scenario of the Manufacturing Process involved in Casting industry. Various departments of the Sand Casting Industry visited and understood the process of making parts like Engineering Parts & Components, Gear Box, Valve Bodies, Automobile Castings, Insulator Castings & Shell molding. An industrial owner and their supporting technical staff from Perfect Auto Cast have given the knowledge regarding fundamental principles of Sand Casting Process to the students. Students have learned the basic technical skills required for Sand Casting Process via physical visits to the industry. They got knowledge of how to perform these manufacturing processes from industrial technical experts.
