Industrial Visits at Impel Motors and RNL Technocast, Rajkot.

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized industrial visits at Impel Motors and RNL Technocast, Rajkot for the students of B.E. 4th & 6th semester on 16th April 2022.
Impel Motors designs and develops next-generation energy-efficient motors for a wide array of high-end applications. They have introduced TEFC ENERGY EFFICIENT induction motors and Gear Speed Reducers, designed to meet the diverse needs of future industries. RNL Technocast is one of the leading manufacturers of cast iron castings with a fully equipped in-house testing lab.
During the visit, students observed the manufacturing of Enclosed Fan Cooled squirrel-cage AC induction motors. Students also learned about the quality control of motors and explored various materials used for manufacturing various parts of motors.
