Rapid Prototyping is a technology that can automatically generate physical models from Computer-Aided Design (CAD) data. The ‘3D printers” equipped in this lab allow students to create robust physical prototypes of their designs, rather than just 2D/3D pictures or CAD models. This facility is extensively used by students to work on various industrial consultancy projects and their final year project under the guidance of highly experienced and skilled faculties. The pneumatic systems are extensively used in the industries.
