Seminar on GATE Examination

Department of electrical engineering had organized a seminar on “GATE” examination for 4th semester students. Mr. Govind – a representative from ICE gave the information about the Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) for Engineers. He explained the importance of GATE examination for the core fields like electrical, civil and mechanical. He makes the students aware about the examination syllabus, important technical subjects to prepare and the examination pattern. Students also understood the role of GATE in achieving the admissions in IITs, NITs and other reputed institutions for pursuing master degree. They were also conveyed the significance of this exam to get the jobs in PSUs and other sectors. At the end of the session mock exam were also conducted such that students got the actual idea about GATE.
