Industrial Visit at Dharti Agro Engineering, Shapar, Rajkot

The Mechanical Engineering Department of Darshan University organized an industrial visit for Semester 2 students on 05th February, 2026 at Dharti Agro Engineering, Rajkot.
Students explored the manufacturing plant, observing the production of advanced agricultural machinery such as Seed Drills, Rotavators, and Power Tillers. The visit provided a close-up look at industrial fabrication processes, including precision welding, CNC machining, and the assembly of robust chassis components.
Industry experts shared insights into R&D in farm mechanization, material selection, and quality testing standards. This experience effectively bridged the gap between classroom theory and real-world engineering, giving students a practical perspective on modern agricultural tool manufacturing.
