Industrial Visit at Bajrang Cold Storage, Rajkot

The Mechanical Engineering Department of Darshan University organized an Industrial Visit for Semester 6 students on 22nd January 2026 at Bajrang Cold Storage, Kagdadi, Rajkot.
During the visit, students observed various components of the cold storage facility such as Storage Chambers, Refrigeration System, Compressor Unit, Condenser, Evaporator, and the functioning of the Ammonia Refrigeration System.
In addition, the industry expert provided detailed insights into the Refrigeration Cycle, Temperature Control System, Pressure Regulation, Energy Efficiency, Insulation Techniques, Humidity Control, and Automation Panel.
This industrial visit helped students build a strong connection between classroom theory and industrial practice, while gaining valuable practical exposure to refrigeration technology.
