Industrial Visit to Adani Port – Mundra

The Department of Diploma Mechanical Engineering at Darshan University organized an industrial visit to Adani Port, Mundra, Gujarat, on 22 January, 2026 for the students of the 6th semester. The visit was planned to give students practical exposure to large-scale goods handling and cargo transportation systems used in the country. Students gained valuable insights into real-world applications of different types of containers, conveyor systems, and pipeline linkages integrated with the national rail network to reduce cargo dwell time. The visit also showcased advanced technologies adopted in terminal operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Who we are?
