Industrial Visit to Space Applications Centre(VSSE) - ISRO, Ahmedabad

Department of Computer Applications, DICA organized an industrial visit to ISRO, Ahmedabad for BCA & B.Sc. (IT) Semester 4 students. The visit was carried out by Prof. Maulik Trivedi and Prof. Ashok Badresiya. The aim for arranging this visit was to relate concepts with real time problems and solutions on space technology aspects, and most importantly to give them the exposure about an industrial environment. Also, students got the knowledge about Space Centre, working of different machines and working models. They also learnt about GSLV and PSLV rockets their fuel, engine, size, elements in fuel. They gained information about satellites and its types, number of satellite India has launched like Chandra and Mangal yaan, and their building materials. They also received a brief idea about the current projects of ISRO.
