The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIETDS organized an industrial visit to Dharti Agro Engineering - Dharti Agro Gate, Shapar for fourth-semester Diploma Mechanical Engineering students. The visit aimed to help students understand the practical applications of mechanical engineering concepts in the agricultural machinery industry. The visit was attended by 46 students and 2 faculty coordinators. During the visit, students gained insights into modern manufacturing processes and observed the use of heat treatment technologies, automation, and quality control practices. They also learned about innovative engineering solutions developed to improve agricultural productivity. The visit helped students connect classroom learning with real-world engineering applications and gain a better understanding of industrial operations, professional practices, and challenges in the manufacturing sector.
