"Sprint 2026 - Rifle Shooting Competition"

The Student Activity Center (SAC) – Sports & Fitness Wing, DU, organized the “Sprint 2026 – Rifle Shooting Competition” to promote precision sports and identify talented shooters for future competitions. The competition witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 74 students from various institutes of the university. Participants demonstrated their accuracy, concentration, discipline, and competitive spirit throughout the competition. In the boys’ category, Mr. Smitkumar Ghodasara emerged as the winner, while Mr. Meet Undhad secured the runner-up position. In the girls’ category, Ms. Yashvi Limbasiya emerged as the winner, while Ms. Krisha Patel secured the runner-up position. The competition promoted sportsmanship, encouraged active participation, and reflected the university’s commitment to holistic student development through sports.
Who we are?
Darshan University - having the foundation of its first Institution laid in 2009, and later on, established and consolidated under Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act of 2021. It is one of the leading institutes within Saurashtra that offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Courses.
