A Competition on "Matrubhasa Divas Elocution"

The Student Activity Center (SAC) – Literary and Fine Arts Wing, DU, organized the “Matrubhasha Divas Elocution Competition” through an online platform to celebrate linguistic diversity and promote the richness of the Gujarati language. Students from various institutes, including the DIET, DICA, and DIS, participated in the event. Participants delivered speeches on topics related to cultural heritage, language, and the importance of preserving their mother tongue. The performances were evaluated based on diction, fluency, content, and presentation skills. Ms. Miral Joshi secured the first position, while Ms. Alifiya Ghoghari stood second. Mr. Ravi Khatana and Mr.Pankaj Solanki jointly secured the third position. Coordinated by Ms. Radhika J. Bhateliya, the competition encouraged students to take pride in their linguistic and cultural heritage.
