Short-term Training Program on “Systematic Knowledge Enrichment Program (SKEP)”

Department of mechanical engineering organized a one-week Short-term Training Program on “Systematic Knowledge Enrichment Program (SKEP)” in collaboration with CADD CENTRE for the 4th semester B.Tech. (Mechanical) & D.E. (Mechanical) students from 15/11/2022 to 21/11/2022.
Mr. Vimal Sir expert from Rajkot CADD CENTRE session on day 1. During the session, students learned about the Design Thinking Process, Importance in Design Development, Conceptual Design, and 2D Drafting.
Mr. Pratik Sir expert from Rajkot CADD CENTRE session on day-2 & 3. During the session, students learned about Drawing commands: Line, Polyline, Circle, Arc, Rectangle, Ellipse, Hatch, Spline, etc. and Modify commands: Move, Copy, Stretch, Rotate, Mirror, Scale, Trim, Extend, Fillet, Chamfer, Array, Explode, etc.
Mr. Shailesh Gaikwad Sir expert from Chennai CADD CENTRE conducted the session on day-4 & 5. During the session, students learned about the application areas, design parameters, and HVAC system components. Sir also explained the design of duct, and air distribution components on REVIT MEP Software. He was also guided about Standards used in HVAC system designing.
On the last day of the training program, students learned about NX-CADCAM software.
The aim of the training program is to develop design software skills in students which will help to understand the current scenario of design industries.
