The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering came into existence for the development of dynamic personalities adaptable to ever increasing demands of emerging semiconductor technologies involving analytical and practical skills.
Considering the necessities, the department set up includes laboratories in various areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering in order to provide a great practical training to the students to match the syllabi of the branch and for the completion of enormous advances in semiconductor industry.
The department offers adequate number of electronics subjects like basics of analog & digital electronics circuits, circuit analysis & synthesis, machine analysis & design, control engineering, in addition to hardware-oriented subjects and assembly language programming.
The Department wishes to construct research environment in the areas of Microwaves, Antennas, Speech Coding and Communication, Devices and Microelectronics, Image Processing and Pattern Recognition, Telecommunication Systems and Networking, Optical Communication and Networks, Microelectronics, VLSI and CAD, Integrated Optics and Biomedical Electronics. |
